We pack our handmade pieces carefully for delivery. If you need an item by a particular date, please contact huw.shields@huwshields.com before ordering so we can confirm whether that date can be agreed.
Where we deliver
We currently deliver to UK.
Delivery charges
Delivery charges are shown before you pay. They are Royal Mail tracked The checkout shows the total charge for your order. We will agree any additional charge with you before taking it.
Dispatch and arrival
Ready-made items are normally dispatched within 1 working day after payment for order confirmed by PayPal. Any longer lead time for a commissioned piece will be explained and agreed before you order.
We normally use Royal Mail After dispatch, estimated delivery is 3 days. These estimates are not a guaranteed arrival date unless we expressly agree one with you. Working days mean Monday to Friday excluding UK bank holidays.
We will deliver within the agreed period, or within 30 days of the contract being made if no other period has been agreed. Your legal remedies for late delivery are unaffected.
Tracking and your address
Email will be sent with tracking details.
Check the address before ordering and contact us promptly if it needs changing. We will explain whether it can still be changed. Contact us if a parcel is returned or a delivery attempt is missed so that we can agree the next steps and any properly applicable redelivery cost.
Missing or damaged parcels
If your parcel is late, missing or damaged, contact huw.shields@huwshields.com. Your order number, photographs of damage and the packaging, where available, can help us investigate. Please keep damaged packaging if practical. These requests do not impose a shorter time limit on your legal rights.
We will deal with the carrier about a parcel we have sent; you do not have to resolve our carrier claim yourself. We remain responsible until the goods are delivered to you or your nominated recipient.
